I felt it when I subbed last month, like buying fuel at black market price , lets not even talk about claude , i dont even understand how they charge for token! thiefs. but you can’t sleep on them !. One time, I trusted an AI-generated SQL query, and it fried my client’s database. Omo, the shouting match was not it—client vexed, me sweating. Plus, there’s talk in the UK about AI automating junior dev roles. In Lagos, where every gig’s a fight, that’s a scary vibe.

Still, I’m all in. AI agents let me flex—ship apps faster, take on bigger clients, and still have time for gym, Netflix ,and things i love. In Lagos, where generator noise is your alarm, they’re a lifeline. In London, they make me look like a rockstar to clients who pay in pounds (gosh i love pounds over naira anyday lol).
